What to prepare before a year-end accounts conversation
10 Oct 2026
A year-end conversation goes faster when the basics are already in one place.
Bank statements for every account, plus loan statements and interest certificates.
Sales and purchase registers reconciled to GST returns, and TDS deducted and deposited with challans.
A fixed-asset list with additions and disposals, stock figures at year end, and a list of debtors and creditors.
Notes on anything unusual: a large one-off sale, a new loan, a related-party transaction or a change in ownership.
This is general guidance and not advice on your own circumstances.
